As part of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah's objective to attain international recognition, the English Education Study Programme actively engages in research and innovation within the field of English language education. The faculty and students are involved in advanced research on language acquisition, educational technology, and pedagogical approaches suited to multilingual classrooms. The programme also facilitates the dissemination of research findings, offering a platform for both students and faculty to share their scholarly contributions with a wider academic community. The English Education Study Programme is home to the Indonesian Journal of English Education (IJEE), a nationally accredited journal with Sinta 2 recognition, which serves as a significant outlet for high-quality research in the discipline of English education.
Through these research endeavors, the English Education Study Programme not only contributes to the academic discourse on language education but also provides practical solutions aimed at enhancing educational practices in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
