Alumni
Aziz Awaludin is a graduate of the English Education Department, having completed his studies in 2016. He is currently a Fulbright Fellow pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Analysis and Evaluation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he also serves as a research assistant to Professor Richard Halverson. He holds a Master of Education from Monash University, Australia (2018). Prior to his doctoral studies, he worked as a researcher at the PPIM (Center for the Study of Islam and Society) at Universitas Islam Negeri Jakarta, and as a communications intern at the Executive Office of the President of Indonesia. Aziz is the founder of @digitalpesantren, an online platform for Islamic education, and has authored Kamus Santri (2020) and the novel April (2017).
Alumni
Asep Mutaqin Abror completed his study in the English Education Department in 2008. He has been deeply engaged in education since 2004, accumulating diverse experiences along the way. These include organizing English camps incorporating hypnosis, teaching English across all educational levels from primary to undergraduate, and coordinating academic programs. He has also taught public speaking to graduate students, served as a redactor for Al Ashri Magazine, and led BS News Publication. Additionally, he has disseminated best practices in teaching, participated in non-profit educational organizations, and contributed to national and international seminars and workshops as a participant and speaker. He has also innovated and designed SD Islam Pembangunan (SDIP) curricula.

Dzawin Nur Ikram is a graduate of the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Educational Sciences, UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta. During his time as a student, he was actively involved in the campus stand-up comedy community, which laid the foundation for his career in entertainment. Dzawin gained national recognition as the third-place winner of Stand Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) Season 4 in 2014, and later became a finalist in Maharaja Lawak Mega 2017 in Malaysia and Singapore. Known for his distinctive comedic style that draws on pesantren life and religious-social issues, Dzawin successfully blends his academic background with creative stage performance. In addition to his work in comedy, he is also the author of the book Santri Jahiliyah, which reflects his personal journey from Islamic boarding school life to becoming a prominent figure in the national comedy scene.

An alumnus of the English Education study program (Class of 2012), Dewi uses her communication skills to engage diverse audiences. Her entrepreneurial success lies in her ability to build a strong brand, network effectively, and offer personalized MC services for various events. Known for her professionalism and adaptability, Dewi has earned a solid reputation in the industry, focusing on continuous growth, client satisfaction, and maintaining high-quality service in a competitive market.
